- Implementing and following up on procedures to provide housing, work centers and colleges with the necessary furniture.
- Estimating the university's needs for furniture, equipment and furnishings for all housing and work centers in the university.
- Addressing the relevant departments to complete furniture purchases in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Submitting periodic reports (annually) on the current status of housing units and the current status of the university's property of residential and office furniture.
- Receiving furniture from suppliers and coordinating with them in the receiving process with the Storage Affairs Department - Providing the necessary furniture for parties, seminars, examination halls and other university activities that require the use of furniture for short and specific periods.
- Transferring and storing residential and office furniture that is not suitable for use to sell it as scrap at public auction in cooperation with other departments.
- Preparing regular records of the university's residential and office furniture, with the balances determined on a regular basis with the Storage Affairs Department.
- Issuing the necessary exit permit related to the exit of furniture and other things to work centers and university housing.
- Preparing the administration’s annual budget after addressing the various departments, colleges and work centers and receiving their response regarding their needs for furniture and other things, estimating them in amounts and then sending them to the Financial Affairs Department, as well as the university’s housing and preparing the administration’s workforce.
